What do late replies to night enquiries cost you?
Type six figures from your PMS and your inbox. Every result shows the formula that produced it, and nothing you type leaves this page.
Your estimate, a month
Direct revenue at risk
€8,160 a month
Bookings at risk × average booking value
12 × €680 = €8,160
If the same stays were booked through an OTA
€1,224 in commission a month
Direct revenue at risk × OTA commission
€8,160 × 15% = €1,224
The two figures are alternatives, not a sum: the first if those guests book elsewhere, the second if they book you through an OTA instead.
How it is calculated
- After-hours enquiries60Direct enquiries × share after hours200 × 30% = 60
- Answered after the limit60After-hours enquiries, counted only when your night reply is later than the late-reply limit7.5 h > 15 min → 60
- Average booking value€680Average daily rate × average stay€340 × 2 = €680
- Late enquiries, valued€40,800Late enquiries × average booking value — the dashboard’s method, applied to your figures, before any booking rate60 × €680 = €40,800
- Bookings at risk12Late enquiries × enquiries that become a booking60 × 20% = 12
An estimate from the figures you typed, not a forecast.
What does the dashboard know that this page does not?
Here you type six figures and assume two. Inside the product each one is measured, enquiry by enquiry.
Not one reply time for the month: every conversation’s first reply, in elapsed time, nights and weekends included.
Not a booking rate you estimate: each request carries its class — no reply, reply too late, follow-up missing, lost after an offer, or healthy flow — or waits, counted apart, until it is classified.
Not your rate times your stay: each property’s average confirmed booking value for the period, in its own currency.
Not one 15-minute limit: a reply target and a late-reply limit for the hotel, and a different pair for any channel that needs one.
Hotels ask where their figures go, and where ours come from.
Is anything I type sent to Wizorks?
No. The page does the arithmetic in your browser and sends nothing you type anywhere, and the site runs no analytics. The figures leave the page only if you copy them.
Where do the starting figures come from?
They describe one invented hotel and are chosen to be easy to check. Two are assumptions — the booking rate and the late-reply limit — and none of them is an industry average.
Why does the reply time change nothing until it passes the limit?
Because that is how the dashboard classes a reply: inside your late-reply limit it is on time. Past it, every night enquiry counts as answered late.
Is this what Wizorks would win back?
No. The calculator sizes what is at risk, not a result. Once a hotel is live, the bookings it takes appear in the dashboard with their evidence.
Watch it answer a real enquiry from your property.
Thirty minutes on a call, with your own channels and rates on the screen, and no contract at the end of it.
