Sub-processor
A sub-processor is a company that a processor (a supplier handling personal data on a business’s behalf) engages to carry out part of that processing, such as hosting, sending messages or running an AI model.
What the GDPR says
A hotel is usually the controller of its guests’ data: it decides why and how the data is used. A software supplier that handles that data for the hotel is a processor. Under Article 28 of the GDPR, the processor may not engage another processor without the controller’s prior written authorisation, specific or general, and the sub-processor must be bound by the same data protection obligations as the processor.

What Wizorks publishes
Wizorks names its main providers on its legal page, from hosting and AI models to messaging, payments, voice, e-mail and error reports, and sends the complete current list, with what each provider processes and where, on request.
