Booking intent
Booking intent is the evidence, in what a guest writes or does, that they mean to book a stay: dates, a number of guests, a room type, a question about price or availability.
How a hotel reads it
Intent is a scale, not a switch. “Do you have a pool?” is interest. “Is the sea-view room free from 12 to 15 May for two adults?” is intent. “Can I pay the deposit now?” is a booking waiting to happen. A team that reads every message in the order it arrived can spend its morning on the first kind while the third waits.
Measure it by stage: how many enquiries gave dates, how many received an offer, how many were confirmed. The drop between two stages is where to look first, and it usually tells you whether the problem is speed, price or follow-up.
Where Wizorks shows it
Wizorks keeps each stay enquiry as a booking request with its stage: collecting details, options sent, awaiting confirmation, confirmed. The recovery queue on Insights › Lost opportunities shows a priority score beside each request, so your team knows which one to open first.
