Digital compendium
A digital compendium is the hotel information a printed room folder used to carry (breakfast hours, house rules, the spa, the neighbourhood, how to reach the desk) published as a web page a guest opens from a link or a QR code.
How to make it worth opening
It is worth having only if it is kept current, which is exactly where the printed folder fails: one printed in spring still lists the summer menu in December. Keep it short, put the questions guests ask the desk most often at the top, and give it one owner who updates it the day something changes.
Codes that open a door or the Wi-Fi do not belong on a public page. Show them only to a guest who is signed in to their booking.
Where Wizorks shows it
In the dashboard it is the Guest guide, published as one link and a QR code for the room, in English, French and Arabic. Wi-Fi and door codes show only to guests signed in to their booking. Translations are suggested, then checked by your team, and one that changes a price or a time is refused.
