PMS two-way sync
PMS two-way sync is a connection that both reads from a hotel’s property management system (rooms, rates, availability, reservations) and writes back to it, so a booking made elsewhere appears in the PMS without anyone retyping it.
Four questions to ask of any connection
What does it read, and how fresh is that when a guest asks? What does it write, and at which moment: when the guest says yes, or when the booking is confirmed? What does it leave to the PMS? And when a write fails, is it retried, and is anyone told? “Integrated” without those four answers can mean a nightly export.
A one-way link is common: a tool reads rates to quote them, and the desk types the booking in by hand. That is where a double booking or a lost guest note can come from.
Where Wizorks shows it
Wizorks is live, both ways, with Cloudbeds and Apaleo; the Mews connection is built and tested on the Mews demo, and goes live for a property once Mews certifies the integration. It reads rooms, rates and reservations, writes the reservation back when the booking is confirmed, and queues and retries a write that fails while your team is alerted. It writes no rates, and room assignment stays in your PMS.
